"The Iberian Pig" will take over the old Sage Restaurant Space

I’m extremely intrigued by the menu but I have to say that my first experience in this establishment was not favorable.
A friend and I wandered in after the Decatur Beer Festival and sat down at the bar with the intention of ordering food. I ordered a cocktail and a friend ordered a Miller Lite. He was rudely informed that “this ain’t that kinda bar.”
While I can appreciate a commitment to offering microbrews and other libations other than a domestic lite beer, I cannot appreciate snobbery of that sort. We’d been sampling many fine craft beers at the Festival and my friend simply wanted something a little lighter to cleanse the palette. At any rate, we finished our drinks and left. I’m still debating on whether I’ll return.
