Decatur 47, Avondale 21: Decatur (3-5, 2-3 Region 6-AA) got the best of Avondale despite Matthew Hardeman’s big night. Hardeman rushed for 175 yards on 22 carries and scored two touchdowns. Avondale falls to 0-8, 0-5.
