Do you remember Glenwood Springs? It was close by but I can't remember exactly where. Besides the pool, I remember the train that you could ride on similar to the one at Grant Park.
I don't remember that, I do remember the train at Grant Park. I will research and if I find any info I will Post it. Thanks If you have any pictures please feel free to share them and I will give you full credit.
I remember going to the movies with my parents at a very young age. I still live in the area and when I drive by I always remember how great to go to the movies with my family. Thank you for allowing old remembers to come back.
I live in North Carolina and just bought an orange 1973 Nova SS last year. While restoring it and took off the passenger back seat panel, I discovered drive-in movie tickets from Glenwood and a 1974 nickle. My car was there several times in the early and mid 70's apparently!!!
I remember going to the "Luke Appling batting range" which was also at Glenwood Springs. I also remember how very cold the water was. The property was converted to apartments, I believe sometime in the late 70's. I believe Glenwood Spings was on Glenwood Road and west of the Glenwood Hills and Belvedere baseball parks.

I remember going to the Luke Appling batting range , which was also at Glenwood Spings, with my Little league teams . I also remember how cold that water was! I believe the property converted to apartments sometime in the late senties or early eighties. As I recall, Glenwood Springs was on Glenwood road and west of the Glenwood Hills and Belvedere ball parks.
