Decatur Looking for MLK Day Volunteers

The City of Decatur is having a major service project over the MLK Day weekend (1/16 – 1/18/09). Volunteers will work on home repairs and yard work for senior citizens. There are a wide variety of volunteer opportunities (from skilled and unskilled labor to delivering materials to helping out with food for the volunteers) over the 3 day period. Please mark your calendar to participate in project. Volunteers may work one or more of the following shifts:
Saturday, January 16: 9am to 1pm and 1pm to 5pm
Sunday, January 17: 1pm to 5pm
Monday, January 18: 9am to 1pm and 1pm to 5pm
