Tim Russell sent this cool looking photo postcard and a photo of that same street same location as it looks today.
This is what I like to call The Decatur Time Machine.

Very cool to see our street. Kind of funny when you think about it: the houses kinda look mostly the same and with no trees...sounds like the neighborhoods OTP that we tend to have a little disdain for! :-)

There is an online photo archive called "Vanishing Georgia" - the link below is all of the material for Dekalb County. There are some cool ones involving the Scottish Rite hospital, downtown Decatur, etc.
