DECATUR, Ga. (AP) - DeKalb County has agreed to make sweeping improvements to its sewer system to curb overflows of untreated sewage.
The Justice Department and the Environmental Protection Agency said Monday that DeKalb will pay a civil penalty of $453,000 to be split between the U.S. and the state of Georgia. The county also agreed to launch $600,000 program environmental program. full story @ Fox 5
