Who remembers TRATTORIA 515 in Decatur ?

Yes ,you are correct that is the McDonough Street Market/Jakes Ice Cream shop and up stairs is Eddie's Attic.

I'm not sure how long Trattoria 515 was open.
Back in the 1950's this building was a furniture store and then Belk-Gallant bought it. Throughout the years it's been many different stores or resturants.

I remember Trattoria 515...fondly. It was owned by Camille Sotis, who also owned Camille's in VaHi. I loved the authentic Italian cuisine...and it was a neighborhood favorite. I was sad when it closed. Decatur hasn't had a decent authentic Italian ristorante since then..just noodles and pizza places.
