Decatur Seeking input for Remaking Complex

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Decatur is looking for public comment Tuesday night on plans to remake the former school that houses its police department.

The city hired an architect to help design a master plan for the renovation or redevelopment of the Beacon School Complex on Trinity Place. The building is home to the city’s police department, the Ebster Recreation Center and performance space.

A public meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Decatur City Hall on the project. Additional meetings will be held in the future.
