Decatur - A local Boy Scout troop began its yearly tradition of selling Christmas trees Friday.

Troop 103 said they've had the lot for 20 years now at the corner of North Decatur and Scott Boulevard.

The boys said they will sell around 450 trees this season.

The Frasier firs are trucked in from Sylvia, North Carolina Richard Burnett said that once the trees are paid for, all the money raised goes directly back to the troop, to fund programs for the Boy Scouts.
