Decatur Square Could learn from the Marietta Square

As you know I like taking pictures of Theatre's, my latest is Marietta's Strand Theatre, recently brought back to life from being closed for many years, they did a perfect job. It is Grand.
While I was there looking around I noticed their park which is in the square.
The Marietta Square is very people friendly, unlike Decatur's . It's a park, even though they don't have a court house, the area has benches (many benches) all over the place, a layout Decatur could learn from. Another thing I like is you can drive around there square.
Decatur's square needs to be more like a park, it almost feels like someone might yell, Please Keep Off the Grass.
