Alliance Theatre presents SHREK the musical Feb 22 - March 16, 2014

The Alliance is pleased to present SHREK THE MUSICAL, based on the beloved Dreamworks film character and William Steig’s 1990s book, February 22 through March 16, 2014 as part of its Alliance Stage Family Series. This fun musical was a hit on Broadway and has now been condensed to a family-friendly, one-hour production for regional stages.
The Alliance will also host our annual fundraising event FAMILIES Centerstage on March 8. For one day only, the Woodruff Arts Center Galleria transforms into “Shrek Land,” a family fun fair with live performances, arts, crafts and music for the whole family to enjoy! Confirmed participants for this year’s event include Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Botanical Gardens, Center for Puppetry Arts, Expressions in Motion Dance, Fernbank Museum, High Museum of Art, Macaroni Kid, and Zoo Atlanta. Tickets for FAMILIES Centerstage include admission to either the 1:00pm or 4:00pm performance of SHREK, with the festival happening in between.
